8 Brilliant Wes Anderson Etsy Finds

Wes Anderson, the man behind beloved classics such as The Royal Tenenbaums and Fantastic Mr. Fox is back once again with a film that is sure to be another outstanding production. Isle of Dogs is set two decades from now, on an island inhabited solely by dogs who have been quarantined due to an outbreak of “dog flu”.  Scarlett Johansson, Bryan Cranston, Tilda Swinton, Ed Norton and of course Bill Murray all provide voices for the stop-motion characters. In honour of Anderson’s visually stunning movies, I’ve put together this list of Etsy items inspired by his work. I’ve had a few of these little gems favourited on Etsy for a while now so I did some digging and found a couple more lovely bits and pieces to add to the list.

Wes Anderson Illustrated Postcard Set

These postcards from Natalie Andrewson are beautifully illustrated, miniature versions of Anderson’s movie posters. I’d recommend clicking through and having a look at the individual designs because they’re really cool. My favourites are The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou and Moonrise Kingdom but they do come as a set of 8 which you can own for only €8.69.

Wes Anderson Rainy Day Activity Book

From Seinfeld to The X-Files and Twin Peaks, Pizza Eaters have tonnes of really funny “Rainy Day Activity Books”. These handmade books are “A loving tribute to one of the great modern directors and the activity books our parents would give us on those cold & wet winter days. Featuring Colouring Pages, Dot To Dot, Word search, Odd One Out and much more!” These books would make a great gift and for under €3, they’re a bargain!

I wouldn’t usually post two similar items but I couldn’t decide which of these lovely brooches to share. This brooch set would make a lovely gift for a Moonrise Kingdom fan.
