If, like me, you spend waaay too much time browsing Etsy and you just so happen to love cult movies, then this is the listicle for you my friend.
Feast your eyes on these cult film inspired Etsy bits and pieces, perfect for a gift to a quirky friend or to yourself if you’re so inclined. (Treat yo’self!)
Hand Drawn Thelma and Louise Paper Bunting
I did mention that this is a list of both weird and wonderful finds… I love this strange but very cool Thelma and Louise Bunting. I’ve been dying to order something from this shop Dolly Loves Dallas for a while now. They make paper crafts of musicians, TV shows and movies. From Misery, Kurt Cobain and Patti Smith bunting to paper dolls of Janis Joplin and Ru Paul’s Drag Race contestants, they have something for everyone. Click here to browse the Dolly Loves Dallas Etsy shop.

Ghost World Coffee Mug
Enid Coleslaw is the punk gal you love to hate. Yeah, she’s kind of a bitch but I love her for it. This Etsy shop, Ex-Girlfriends Cards have loads of really cool pop culture themed mugs. It’s definitely worth checking out if you too love drinking several liters of tea a day like I do. Click here to check out some more funky mugs.
Donnie Darko Illustrated Prints
Donnie Darko is hands down one of the greatest cult films ever made. There are loads of really great Donnie Darko themed illustrations on Etsy but these are definitely my favourite. This particular Etsy shop has some other really nice illustrations for sale including a Stranger Things and Fantastic Mr. Fox prints. I’m a sucker for buying things like this just to have and admire. 90s Illustrated Classic Movie Sticker Set
Hello Hurra is one of the best Etsy shops for 90s inspired items. They make really funky tote bags, pins and stickers. They have tonnes of awesome sticker packs but it’s safe to say, the above is my favourite. I’d probably plaster my whole house in stickers if I could. I’d buy it for the Divine and Ghost World stickers alone! If you’d like to browse Hello Hurra’s Etsy shop, click here.
The Parent Trap Illustrated Tee
Okay. So yeah, The Parent Trap isn’t exactly considered always considered a cult classic but I’ve always kind of believed it to be. Funnily enough, I came across an article for Vice a couple of days ago discussing this very topic if any die-hard Parent Trap fans feel like checking it out. To be honest, I still haven’t come to terms with the fact that Lindsay Lohan, in fact, does NOT have a twin sister. That messed with my head so bad as a child. Anyway, I love this t-shirt. which just happens to be another design from Hello Hurra.
Pink Flamingo Paper Dolls
Another cool find from Dolly Loves Dallas are these Pink Flamingos paper dolls. From director John Waters aka the ‘Pope of Trash’, Pink Flamingos changed the trajectory of queer cinema and is one of the greatest cult films ever! For any Divine fans, there’s a brilliant biographical documentary available on Netflix about the life of Harris Glenn Milstead aka Divine that’s definitely worth a look.
Welcome to the Dollhouse Enamel Pin
Honestly, it’s not that I particularly loved Welcome to the Dollhouse because, well frankly, Todd Solondz movies make me uncomfortable… but I do find this Dawn Wiener Dog pin hilarious! For more pins from Krystan Saint Cat like click here.
